Bespoke Courses

Why do it? Learn how to perform with complete confidence in press, radio and TV interviews, at press conferences and in other interactions with journalists. The bespoke course is constructed based entirely on the needs of the delegate, including their specific organisation and role requirements, level of experience and ability and any known upcoming media opportunities / issues.

Who’s it for? Senior executives and spokespeople at beginner, intermediate or advanced levels.

What the course covers You’ll carry out five press, radio and TV practical exercises that have been designed from scratch to test and enhance existing skills and to develop new ones. The theory part of the training covers key messages, techniques for controlling an interview and handling tricky questions, voice coaching and body language.

Open Courses

Why do it? Get a valuable introduction to the challenges and protocols of working with journalists.

Who’s it for? Individuals and organisations who want to cover the same material as our Bespoke Media Training courses for spokespeople, but have a limited budget and are happy to train in a mixed-group environment.

What the course covers An introduction to working with journalists, understanding deadlines, impact of social media, preparing key messages, techniques for tricky questions. Delegates complete one practical TV exercise.
