Marketing and Sales Assistant, TNR, Press Association

There is now an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Marketing and Sales Assistant to join growing agency, TNR.

As the Marketing and Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering our communications and marketing strategy, working with the Head of Marketing and New Business to ensure all communications reflect our brand proposition and ensure consistency across all marketing material.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sell who we are and what we offer to new and existing clients by phone, email and in person
  • Implement the marketing strategy
  • Deliver campaigns against the strategic plan and monitor progress
  • Report project process into Head of Marketing and New Business and MD
  • Work with senior team to develop and nurture partnerships with agencies and brands
  • Attend meetings and pitches with appropriate team head
  • Implement online and offline marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms including website, e-newsletters, social media
  • Immerse yourself in emerging trends and ensure TNR’s strategy incorporates new ideas
  • Organise and coordinate events
  • Maintain the look and feel of all branding elements for the company
  • Implement the social media strategy across all relevant platforms
  • Maintain the CRM system (Salesforce) for TNR
  • Identify pitch and tendering opportunities

Desired skills and experience:

  • A natural marketer
  • Experience in media / PR / content or a relevant degree
  • One year’s experience in a sales and marketing role
  • The ability to manage multiple projects

Senior Account Manager, TNR, Press Association

There is now a unique and exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Account Manager to join this growing agency.

We are recruiting for an accomplished PR professional to join our busy and creative production desk.  The successful candidate will have the commercial drive to build revenues with current and potential clients, and a proven understanding of broadcast and digital public relations and video production.  The role will report to the Head of Production and will be part of a successful and creative production team.

With ambitious growth plans for 2018 and beyond, the SAM will play a key role in growing a client services team around them to generate and nurture business.

Based at PA’s London headquarters, the work is fast-paced, challenging, varied and interesting with a huge range of top tier clients and fab team to work with.

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate creative and editorially viable ideas that will deliver successful video and radio campaigns, write detailed, persuasive proposals, present confidently to clients and have the skill to turn potential projects into confirmed ones
  • Simultaneously manage 5+ broadcast projects for high profile clients at any given time
  • Manage production schedule workflow with the support of the Head of Production
  • In due course build and manage your own account team
  • Build and nurture excellent relationships with media and manage sell-ins to online and broadcast media
  • Produce in depth reports for clients on campaign successes
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients and reach out to new clients by phone and in person.

Desired skills & experience: 

  • Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, motivated by creating amazing content and delivering stand-out results for clients
  • Generate creative and strategic recommendations, and be able to articulate them to clients both face-to-face and via proposals

Picture Desk Assistant, TNR, Press Association

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the TNR photography team to play a key role editing and delivering images to our large network of media publishers. If you are relishing the chance to enhance your skill set in photography and to work on exciting image campaigns for clients including Land Rover, Kellogg’s, Virgin Atlantic, EasyJet and many more, this role is waiting for you to make it your own!

A day in the life of: 

  • Your day will be busy and varied!
  • Interacting with our clients and communicating positively and quickly to their requests will be an important part of the role. Part of the role will also include pitching our photography services to clients alongside the wider TNR offering
  • You will also need to give admin support to the Picture Editor and Head of Photography. We love people that can be creative, and we will look to you to offer creative ideas for photo shoots and respond to client briefs. You will also be involved in writing case studies for marketing
  • Time management, ability to prioritise and being well organised are key – you will need to work with the photographers to ensure images are delivered quickly and briefs are fulfilled accurately. As well as gathering data, monitoring image usage in media, create clippings and slide shows
  • As our Picture Desk Assistant, you will also need to edit images, write photo captions, create call sheets and submit risk assessments. As well as, delivering images to the PA picture desk and our clients in a timely fashion

This is an exciting career development opportunity, with training, for an ambitious and talented person with enthusiasm for photography and PR. A year’s experience on a picture desk or within a media environment is desirable but key is a passion for photography and current affairs and a desire to see the results of your hard work appear in the media every day.

To be suitable for the role, you should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of MAC and Microsoft Office as well as image editing software including Adobe Photoshop. Attention to detail and the ability to keep calm under deadline pressures are very important. We are after an energetic, self-starter with common sense who can spot a winning picture.

Core hours are 9am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, however, the role could involve evening and weekend shift work dependent on schedule.  We are based in London, Victoria for now but will be relocating to Paddington in May 2019.
