Team Assistant (part time)

There is now a unique and exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Part Time Team Assistant to join this growing agency.

It is a key role within TNR, providing essential support to the Managing Director alongside liaising with our accounts team and general administration.

This is a dynamic role with great opportunity to grow with the company.

We are looking for 20 hours work per week and offer flexible hours to work around business needs and your personal commitments. So you could work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, or 5 hours a day, 4 days per week.  Etc.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to the MD
  • Supporting all members of the team by running a smooth and efficient office
  • Maintaining petty cash and MD credit card expenses
  • Managing casual staff contracts
  • Providing ad hoc reception cover for the building
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the accounts team in Howden
  • Emailing invoices to clients
  • Administering project job sheets incorporating supplier costs and client charges
  • Making tea and coffee for meetings

Essential skills:

  • Highly organised and able to prioritize
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages (especially Word and Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Good communication skills with an articulate manner
  • Excellent phone manner

Marketing and Sales Executive, TNR

The Role:

As the Marketing and Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering our communications and marketing strategy, working with the Head of Marketing and New Business and management team to ensure all communications reflect our brand proposition and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.

You are here to build our brand into a leading name in the digital and broadcast sector.  Which is perfect.  After all, that’s what you are good at!

Sharing our passion for content, you will use a mix of platforms and channels including cold calls, account management, events, PR, online, website and social.

You will be responsible for calling new and existing clients to set up meetings for the senior team, help organise and attend networking events which fully maximise key TNR individuals, our unique access to senior PA editorial staff and current assets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sell who we are and what we offer to new and existing clients by phone, email and in person
  • Implement the marketing strategy
  • Deliver campaigns against the strategic plan and monitor progress
  • Report project progress into Head of Marketing and New Business and MD
  • Work with senior team to develop and nurture partnerships with agencies and brands
  • Attend meetings and pitches with appropriate team head or MD
  • Help put together presentation slides in preparation for any pitches
  • Write and proofread copy for blogs, social media posts and various marketing materials
  • Implement online and offline marketing campaigns across a  variety of platforms including website, e-newsletters, social media, and other channels
  • Immerse yourself in emerging trends and ensure TNR’s strategy incorporates new ideas
  • Organise and coordinate events and workshops
  • Maintain the look and feel of all branding elements for the company
  • Implement the social media strategy across all relevant platforms
  • Maintain the CRM system (Salesforce) for TNR
  • Identify pitch and tendering opportunities

Desired skills and experience:

A natural marketer, ideally with experience in media / PR / content, you’ll have at least a year in a sales and marketing role and the ability to manage multiple projects.

You’ll have superb brand awareness, a creative approach, meticulous copywriting skills, amazing communication skills and a highly organised approach.  In addition, your hawk like attention to detail and your can-do attitude will ensure TNR remains top of its game.

Camara op / Editor

The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Production, the ideal candidate will be a creative camera person with an eye for beautiful shots and exceptional filming skills. You must be able to take your footage through to edit and be adept at editing both at speed for very tight news deadlines and creative content for high end clients. The ability to take client briefs and work with a producer to transform them into engaging audience specific content for multiple platforms is essential.

TNR’s varied clients and projects mean you will be required to shoot and edit anything from editorial, newsworthy B-Roll to creative, high spec, corporate videos with graphics.  From script to screen the successful candidate should be self-motivated and be able to work to tight deadlines and thrive on creativity.

With an excellent knowledge of a range of cameras you will be technically adept at lighting and you will have experience working with different formats, broadcast standards and platform specific formats.

Key responsibilities:

  • Main in-house camera op/ editor
  • Shooting in studio, on location and on occasion internationally
  • Quality control of filmed content – as the lead camera person you will set the tone for the rest of the business
  • Excellent understanding of storytelling techniques
  • Understanding of editorial guidelines and the ability to shoot and edit great news content, fast
  • Able to produce, edit and create motion GFX
  • Creative thinking and ability to work with creative teams
  • Working with producers and production team to conceiving and develop winning creative pitch proposals
  • Understanding of client business issues and requirements
  • Maintain pre and post production elements with minimal input from producers/directors
  • Develop and maintain streamlined post-production processes and facilities
  • Organise and maintain efficient edit suite back up and archive system
  • Maintenance of in-house camera and lighting kit and hiring of kit
  • Keep ahead of current trends, kit and techniques

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experienced creative camera op and editor (5 – 8 years’ experience min to include self-shooting and post-production)
  • Wide range of shooting and editing experience on creative and editorial projects, news experience would be an advantage
  • Technically adept – excellent knowledge of a range of cameras from C300, FS7, Reds etc. and technical lighting knowledge
  • A flare for editing creatively and at speed – experienced in Premier Pro is essential
  • Motion GFX – After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop and illustrator
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple edits
  • Adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
