Pringles 25th Anniversary with Olly Murs
On the day of the shoot we arrived at Big Sky studios with kit in arm, full of excitement to meet X-Factors’ finest, Olly Murs (definitely disappointed he won’t be presenting it this year!). The studios were incredibly spacious and there was a fresh breakfast spread available; which certainly helped us to get ready for the day ahead.
Once we had eaten the mandatory peanut butter toast (!) we got on with setting up the kit in eager anticipation of Olly Murs’ arrival.
Not long after, Olly arrived and was whisked straight into hair and make up to start the first makeover of the day; which would see him transform into Leonardo DiCaprio’s role in the Great Gatsby, to recreate the famous champagne toast party scene.
Before Olly unveiled his new looks we captured ‘behind the scenes’ shots of Olly being transformed and also got some soundbites of him explaining his involvement with the Pringles campaign.
Olly looked incredibly dapper in his tuxedo and certainly gave the Oscar winner a run for his money!
Next up Olly recreated David Brent from ‘The Office’. Credit to Olly is definitely due here, as his impersonation of THAT dance (if you can call it dancing?!) was spot on.
After a quick break for lunch Olly transformed into Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal style. He entered the room doing his best moonwalk, which was very impressive. Of course we had lots of MJ tunes blaring to really get everyone into the mood and Olly also revealed some remarkable Pringles cans juggling ability.
The final look of the day was the one and only John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. This saw Olly don the infamous white suit coupled with some very snazzy snakeskin boots and hit the lit up dancefloor!
The day was certainly very exciting and it was great to meet Olly Murs who definitely gave the day his all. Here’s hoping we get to work with him again soon but maybe this time won’t come out smelling of hairspray!
