February has been a busy month for the RADAR AI team, who have produced some strong stories with local and national media pick-up.
From the murder rate to dangerous animal licenses, bin collections to Ukrainian refugees, the team have used their data journalism skills to cover a wide range of topics, shedding new light on issues across the country.
While most of RADAR’s work originates with public data released by Government departments, they also work with figures provided by charities and campaigners, to produce hundreds of unique, original news stories for all corners of the UK.

For movie fans, it’s another great year of sequels to look forward to. In 2023, we were treated to the return of the legendary archaeologist Indiana Jones in the series’ fifth instalment, Dial of Destiny, whilst iconic slasher franchise Scream moved away from Woodsboro to New York for Scream 6.
But 2024 is already shaping up to be a year rich with hotly anticipated sequels that are hitting the mark with fans. The Dune saga concluded with Dune Part 2, and the Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya starring sci-fi epic has hit a chord with audiences and critics, breaking into the top 20 of the IMDB top 250 at number 12, and causing a sandstorm at the box office taking over £460 million in global ticket sales so far.
