Bridgid Nzekwu

 

Award winning Director of Media Training at PA Media. Bridgid is a BBC News presenter and former reporter and anchor at Channel 4 News and ITV News.

 

She was named ‘Outstanding Woman in Professional Services’ at the Precious Awards 2018, in recognition of her media training work in the private and public sectors.

Journalism and broadcasting: 25 years’ experience in the top flight of British TV news. Presenter and reporter for Channel 4 News, 2000-2010. Has also anchored 24-hour rolling news, online news and factual programmes.

Training and strategy: Responsible for designing and managing courses and training programmes for clients in every sector, including government, Third Sector, SMEs and large corporates. Bridgid lectures on media engagement (Cambridge University, University of London) and speaks at conferences, on panels and at client leadership sessions.

Rachel Hicks

Highly experienced reporter, media insights specialist, coach and crisis communications expert

Key Credits: BBC TV News Channel, BBC TV news and radio.

Journalism and Broadcasting: 20 years reporting for BBC TV News up and down Britain, presented the award winning daily current affairs show for BBC West and hosted BBC radio programmes across the country. Freelance university lecturer, author, filmmaker and conference facilitator.

Training and Strategy: 20 years’ experience delivering insights into how the media works. Expert crisis communications coach and crisis communications planner. Graduate of the government’s Emergency Planning College. Key strengths include: providing clients with a deep, clear understanding of what journalists want; ensuring delegates can deliver it the media confidently and successfully.

Pauline Haase

Journalism and broadcasting: Over 20 years’ experience in broadcast journalism. Starting her career as a news reporter for BBC Radio Merseyside, she went on to become an award-winning TV Series Producer/Editor.

Training and strategy: Pauline trains and advises CEOs and managers across a variety of sectors including the directors of over a quarter of the companies in the FTSE 100.

Lea Sellers

Highly experienced TV producer, communications and media training specialist

Key credits: Newsnight, Question Time, Channel 4 News

Journalism and broadcasting: Former Deputy Foreign Editor of Channel 4 News. Edited The Pulse and First Edition for Channel 4. Implemented Impartiality Reviews for the BBC Trust. Moderates at the British Library and the Dubai Literary Festival. Degree in Russian Studies, MA in International Relations, MA in Screenwriting.

Training and strategy: Clients include Morgan Stanley, Mitie, Royal Mail and the 30% Club. Trains spokespeople, especially women, to communicate with confidence when they speak in public or engage with the media.

Paul Anstiss

Highly experienced trainer and journalist

Journalism and broadcasting: More than 25 years as a journalist for some of Europe’s leading news organisations, covering national and international stories, including business and politics.

Training and strategy: Experienced trainer working with high-level delegates, including CEOs, politicians, academics, NGOs and entrepreneurs from a wide range of companies and organisations.

Keme Nzerem

Experienced TV news reporter, presenter and media trainer.

Journalism and broadcasting: Two decades reporting, presenting and interviewing leaders around the world on global events such as US elections, natural disasters, international terrorism, World Cups, Olympic Games.

Training and strategy: Keme trains global organisations in the public eye and is experienced at coaching high profile individuals for specific events. He also advises on campaigns, influence strategy and planning.

Tessa Parry-Wingfield

Journalism and broadcasting: Tessa has reported for GMTV and Al Jazeera English. She has written news for Channel 4 and has produced ITV News.

Training and strategy: Tessa is a content specialist whose expertise is helping brands deliver their messages through the media. She has worked on many successful campaigns for clients such as Visit Denmark and the Big Lottery Fund. Tessa is a brand storyteller for many different sectors – from charities and finance, to tech and transport.

Anna Bailey

Journalism and broadcasting: Anna is an award-winning journalist and radio reporter, presenter and producer for the BBC. She covers politics, consumer affairs, and the arts.

Training and strategy: A communications expert with 25 years’ experience in strategic PR, journalism and media training. She has worked in corporate communications for blue chip companies and leading PR consultancies.
